Baja SAEIndia

The BAJA SAEINDIA wants the students to design, fabricate and validate an All-Terrain Vehicle (ATV). The teams then take part in a series of events spread over a course of three days that test the vehicle in terms of it's Gradability, Speed, Acceleration and Maneuverability.

Our team RAPTOR had an outstanding performance in BAJA SAEINDIA 2019 with an appreciable result in the last "Endurance Test" of the event held at IIT Ropar securing AIR 36. Team RAPTOR 2.0 secured AIR 33 in virtuals held in Chitkara University.

The evolution process for the BAJA SAEINDIA is a twofold process and students have to clear the Virtuals BAJA's preliminary round before they start manufacturing their buggies for the main events. The teams need to build a simple All-Terrain Vehicle for recreation purposes that is aesthetically and ergonomically sound while still being a fun and durable machine in the real-world conditions.
